Crazy morning...!

So today I decided to get some cash from the ATM machine before heading out to work. I get to the bank and am standing in front of the damn machine only to discover that my freakin card was not in my wallet. At this point, the control freak in me starts to go berserk...I tell myself....calm down..calm down...surely this is not the worst thing that could possibly happen to me..so just chill..I mean after all just about 2 weeks ago a close friend of mine had her car stolen (thank god she got it back!)...this was only an ATM card..I'm like suck it up..so I check inside my car..no luck..then I go home hoping that I may find it tucked inside the pocket of the shirt I wore to work yesterday..but my search ended in vain and another half hour was lost...so now I'm thinking where the last place that I used my card was..and! and! and! no surprises there...it was at the Starbucks by my work..so I become very optimistic and drive down there but alas no luck there either..now at this point, there was'nt anything else to do but to cancel my card and have a new one sent to me which was a huge botheration considering the fact that my card is my life-line...so I FINALLY get to work and am sitting inside my car chiding myself about all the time I lost due to my little ATM card fiasco..when EUREKA!...a little voice inside my head says to me..did you check the little area right beside the driver's seat?..you know that one spot where quarters, dimes, nickels, old love notes!! and what have you seem to mysteriously turn up..so just as I was about to step outside my car I turn around and look below and sure enough..tucked inside that little area between the driver's seat and what I call the "miscellaneuos crap compartment " was my ATM card..how happy was I..mystery solved and lesson learnt..always look carefully inside your car before taking items for being lost.!.now I shall go ahead and get "high" over the week-end..peace out..be safe..and behave!....:-)
